Artist David Ort, who has studied Illustration at the Art Institute of Boston as well as Anatomy, Painting and Sculpture at the Art Students League in Manhattan specializes in mixed media and found object sculpture, often exploring themes such as the symbolism inherent in the anatomy of nature and the expressive quality of the human form.

David has displayed his work in NYC over the past 5 years, including numerous shows with Ad Nauseam Lyceum and at the Jonathon Shor Gallery in SOHO. Through his involvement with Action Arts League, David participated in Healthy Halloween by teaching art to underprivileged children in public schools. David was also a featured artist at the last NYC Decom at the Queens Museum of Art. He is currently hard at work for a new large-scale mixed media installation "Arbor Animus" with the newly formed collective Artists Working Forward.
